Nestled down one of the many sketchy looking roads in the Arts District, Greenbar Distillery is truly a hidden find.

Greenbar is very unique. They only use recycled materials to package their products, and they use less glass in their bottles. They also plant 1 tree for every bottle they sell. According to their calculations of the amount of CO2 they have to emit to produce 1 bottle of alcohol, by planting a tree they undo that damage. Even though their distillery isn't very large, you can buy their many different spirits across the country. They are available in Whole Foods in every state. 

But what really makes Greenbar unique is the flavours they are able to make. This is because they only use actual organic food to naturally make their flavours. They are the only ditillery that does this. You can definitely taste the difference.

All in all, this was an amazing tour. Everyone was very friendly and let their personality shine through. Everything I tasted was seriously amazing. And I learned a lot, like how to flavour their whiskey they use a combination of different woods like tea bags. If you want a fun tasting tour without going a long distance, go to Greenbar.
