Sinnerman

I haven't done a day to night outfit yet, so I wanted to share a good go-to one for when the weather isn't completely warm  yet.

The easiest way to do this kind of look is by taking a top, bottoms, and shoes that are basic but classic by themselves. Add a cozy top layer for the day time, and you're instantly more casual. Add a nice jacket, and you've got your nighttime look. I also added a bit of bling with my earrings.

I am a HUGE Nine Simone fan. I have been since I was a kid. She puts so much power in her music, you can feel it. Reading her autobiography was incredibly interesting. I haven't seen the Netflix documentary yet, but I did see an early screening of the film with Zoe Saldana playing Nina. Race controversy aside, she is an excellent actress who also has undeniable power behind her performances. I know Sinnerman is one of her most well-known songs, but it is still one of my favourites. I felt pretty badass in this outfit, but still classic. Who better represents those two things than Miss Simone?
