I feel like the only way to deal with Mondays is to take it head on and get as much done as possible. Sometimes though, you gotta fake it to make it. And by that I mean dress the part. I know it's a weird mental thing, but when I put the right outfit on it sets my mind in the right place.

While LA is currently going through an odd heatwave, last month was quite cold. There were some days we were even colder than NYC! A while back, I saw a fashion blogger do a cool twist on the button down under a sweater thing - the sweater was a turtleneck. I always love how a button down under a sweater looks slightly collegiate, and I love even more how this twist makes it a bit more edgy.

The Tune Yards are perfect travel music. I know that sounds a bit odd, but I have discovered that whether you're driving or walking around, listening to Tune Yards is perfect. It keeps you in a pleasant mood, but keeps you going. I love how quirky they are as well.
