There are so many cool places in Highland Park & Eagle Rock that I want to explore. Recently, I finally had the chance to go to one of them. Maximiliano's looks really amazing from the outside, and it's just as great on the inside. There's even a beautiful patio area that I can't wait to have brunch on when the weather is warmer. I have not yet had any of their pizzas, which is what they are known for, but I can definitely recommend this place for brunch.

Red Quinoa & Farro

The food was seriously delicious. My friends and I all ordered different things, and we all cleaned our plates.

 Bloody Mary

The Bloody Marys were pretty standard, but their bottomless mimosas are a total steal. They are perfectly made, and for $15 you get your money's worth.

Ricotta Pancake

The only negative thing is, the service isn't great. Both times we went we didn't get much attention, and one of those times the restaurant was pretty empty. If you have a few hours of leisurely brunch time available though, it doesn't become too much of an issue.
