Now that it's offcially spring I want to share more warm weather friendly locations. Even though LA has been seeing warm weather for a while, there's a different feeling when it's spring or summer. Van Leeuwen is a great place for vegan ice cream.

I am not one for vegan as a trend. I do enjoy vegan foods because of how they make me feel, but things like ice cream - unless you need to abstain for allergy or religious reasons, you should just go with the real thing. Van Leeuwen kind of changed my mind about that. My family and I each got a different flavour, and they were all amazing. 

They also have non-vegan flavours, which are all equally delicious. I also have to say their coffee was amazing. I am a big fan of ice coffee, and people don't always make it right. This place did.

 I got ginger ice cream. It was absolutly too amazing.
